About Diana
I truly love teaching math. I’ve always been a “math kid” who grew into a math adult—math is second nature to me, and I genuinely find it one of the most beautiful and powerful ways to understand the world. I won multiple national math competitions in Europe, where I was trained in the renowned post-Soviet approach to mathematics—an approach focused on deep understanding, logic, and elegant problem-solving, which I now pass on to my students. I’ve taught math as a Vice Principal at the Russian School of Mathematics and later founded my own learning center, iGen. While I currently work in technology, I continue to follow my passion through one-on-one tutoring and by coaching middle and high school teams for national math competitions. My teams have earned gold and silver medals five years in a row, and I’ve taught hundreds of students who went on to top-tier colleges, with many continuing in math-related fields. My goal is simple: to help you truly understand math—and maybe even fall in love with it the way I did.

The way I teach is always tailored to how YOU learn and to what I’ve seen work hundreds of times.
We break everything down into SIMPLE pieces that actually connect and make sense. Lessons are interactive, engaging, and built around UNDERSTANDING— not memorizing. You’ll learn how to think through problems, where to direct your mind, how to picture your path to a solution. We practice a lot through activities, games, rapid rounds, and focused work.
