About Sebastian

I have a bachelor of science in Applied Statistics and Biology at University of Cape Town (UCT). Currently I am studying honors. I plan to go overseas in 2025 to either Europe or America. I have experience in mathematics, statistics and quantitative topics. My experience in tutoring is thorough, I have been tutoring for the last three years, multiple students ranging from grade 8-12. I am very hard working and passionate about my studies and these qualities are passed on to tutoring.

I am also very patient and a great person to chat to if you need. Personally, I love sports and to surf. I am also a nature lover and a proud supporter of FC Barcelona.

About the lesson

My approach to learning and tutoring is by initially doing some content and introduction to a section. Then going through practice questions and past paper or exam-type questions. The layout of a lesson is always flexible and can change depending on your request. I also strive to be accessible and a person that you feel comfortable with to tell if you are struggling or do not understand what is going on (which is totally ok and part of learning).

I aim to teach any level from high school grade 8 to third year university.

I teach in english and you can expect a mix of powerpoint presentations and practice questions or exam questions.
