About Stanley
As a Dean’s List graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison, I bring both academic excellence and real-world teaching experience to my tutoring approach. While at UW–Madison, I earned an A in College Math of Finance, strengthening my foundation in applied mathematics and analytical thinking. My teaching career began at a private Christian school in Las Vegas, where I taught K–8 Art as well as high school Digital Media and Career Readiness. This experience helped me develop a versatile teaching style that connects with students of all ages and learning styles. Beyond the classroom, I’ve worked in creative and technical industries as a UI App Developer for Sub-Zero/Wolf, Art Director for Umoja Magazine, and Digital Media Designer for both Mass Media LV and Virgen Digital Media. From 2015 to 2022, I also served as a Digital Media Designer at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Growing up in Chicago, Illinois, I understand the challenges and potential of inner-city students. This background helps me connect authentically with learners from diverse environments and inspire them to push beyond perceived limits. As both a traditional and digital artist, my work has been featured in news print and television, earning recognition and awards for excellence in design and visual storytelling. This blend of academic strength, artistic vision, and real-world experience allows me to create lessons that are both intellectually engaging and personally motivating.

With two years of teaching experience at a private Christian school in Las Vegas, I bring a structured yet compassionate approach to tutoring. My lessons focus on strengthening core understanding in mathematics and science while encouraging critical thinking and confidence in every student.
Each session is customized to meet individual learning goals. I begin by assessing the student’s current understanding, then introduce new concepts through clear explanations and practical examples. Together, we work through guided exercises that reinforce comprehension before closing with a brief review to ensure retention.
What sets my approach apart is the balance of academic rigor and encouragement. I believe students learn best in a patient, supportive environment where questions are welcomed and growth is celebrated.
These lessons are suitable for learners of all ages who need support in mathematics, including arithmetic, algebra, and trigonometry, as well as general science.
