About Katharine

I am a Phoenix native who attended school in Portland, OR (where most of my tutoring experience is from). Despite struggling substantially with subtraction in first grade, I was grew into my math abilities throughout middle school and high school thanks to a few significant teachers. Now, I study math every day and enjoy the way that it helps me see and analyze the world!

I am committed to helping all young students realize that math is not the enemy, but an incredible tool to be mastered to accomplish their dreams.

About the lesson

I remember feeling burnt out and stressed about finishing homework for my more difficult classes in high school – IB Physics, IB Economics, Calculus, etc. It wasn't until college I was able to utilize help from other individuals to better understand the material and complete my assignments! I hope to be able to provide that same help for high school students, so they can be prepared for college and understand the material!
