About Jade
Jade is a skilled clarinetist and pianist, and a dedicated music educator. Degree in clarinet education at the University of Western Ontario. With over 4 years of private teaching experience and over 3 years in a classroom setting, Jade has worked with students of all levels and ages (5-60) to develop strong technical foundations and musical confidence. In addition to private instruction, Jade has been actively involved in ensemble music for over seven years. They have also taught with her city, fostering education within the community. Jade is passionate about inspiring young musicians through personalized instruction, ensemble leadership, and a student-centered approach to learning.

As an educator, the ultimate goal should always be to guide students toward self-sufficiency. This means that students should develop the skills and confidence to learn independently rather than relying on constant external instruction. While I still provide written guidance for my students, I ensure that they actively engage in the learning process rather than passively receiving information.
