About Shanmukh
Current PhD Student at UT Austin in Materials Engineering, previously obtained a Masters and Bachelors in Materials Engineering and Chemical Engineering at USC.
At USC, was named Head Engineering Tutor for students in the engineering school for STEM classes. Experience in applying concepts to the real world through work in R&D for the semiconductor industry and full time role at Samsung in Process Integration.

I try to teach for understanding of concepts rather than providing direct answers to students. A stepwise understanding of concepts starting from first principles and building to a grander understanding of a problem is my goal for my students.
I have a proven record of achieving results with grade school students (tutor for Benjamin Bubb Elementary) and college age students (Lead Engineering Tutor at the University of Southern California).
Also happy to provide college applications guidance and essay revisions, or job and internship guidance (2 R&D internships and previous job as a Process Integration Engineer at Samsung).
