About Rindala
Hi! My name is Rindala and I'm a 25 year old woman who is very passionate about running, hiking, baking, cats, and numbers!
Ever since elementary school, Math has always been my favorite subject. I loved it so much that I decided to make it my whole career. So, I got my Bachelor's degree in Applied Math from the American University of Beirut, and my Master's degree in Biostatistics from Harvard University. I graduated top of my class and now I work as a Statistician.
Throughout my school years, I tutored Math and Statistics to more than 20 students, I taught Math and English in a school for underpriviledged children, and I organized weekly group study sessions to help students with their homework/assignments. I just knew how quickly one can become overwhelmed and frustrated when unable to grasp the material, so I wanted to try as much as possible to alleviate the suffering and fear when it comes to Math. I wanted to prove to my students and classmates that solving Math problems can indeed be fun!
When I'm not dealing with numbers, you can find me running along the river, playing soccer, teaching my cat new tricks, experimenting in the kitchen, or checking out new coffee shops.

I've been tutoring students of all levels for more than 7 years. Typically, I start by going over the material the student is struggling with and I break down complicated concepts into easily digestible pieces. I do so by giving real life examples, explaining why/when these concepts are useful, and walking through problems slowly and one step at a time.
I understand how difficult Math can be, so I make sure to do things in a way that works for YOU. I believe that patience, honesty, and flexibility are the key components for an effective learning experience. At the end of the day, these lessons are for you, so you choose the pace and I'll follow. I want to make sure that you leave the lesson with a better understanding and a greater appreciation for the subject.
Remember, it doesn't have to be hard; you just need to find an approach that suits you and sticks, and that's what I'm here for!

Rindala helped me a lot throughout my statistics course during my undergraduate degree. She was so incredibly patient and continuously found different ways to explain different concepts until I had a full grasp on it. Not sure I would’ve passed the course if it weren’t for her.
I highly recommend Rindala as a math tutor. Her dedication, patience, and passion for mathematics have greatly improved my understanding and performance in the subject. Rindala creates a supportive learning environment and genuinely cares about her students' success.
Rindala was an absolute lifesaver during my BA studies! When I was struggling to grasp some complex math concepts, she offered her help with incredible patience and clarity. Her explanations were insightful and made even the trickiest problems seem manageable. I highly recommend Rindala because she’s a great tutor!
She’s the reason I passed all my mathematics classes and my SATs !! She’s very patient and will gladly repeat something as many times as you need until she makes sure you get it ! If I were to have any maths classes in the future, she’s the first person I’ll go to for help.
