About Brandon
Hi! I'm Brandon, I'm an electronics engineering graduate in Ottawa and I want to help you succeed in your math journey. I always feel joy when I teach so if I am able to help you with your education, that is all that matters. I will help you until you understand the concepts I am teaching, I want you to be confident in what you know and grasp the fundamentals, because that is a superpower. I enjoy movies, video games, fixing broken electronics, coding, cooking, reading and general tinkering. I am a curious person so I am always open to learning new things. I like to use analogies and try and meet the student halfway by relating the subject matter to something they may already know. The lesson will mostly begin with a bit of review of the previous lesson, any questions they may have with any of the work I have assigned them or their teacher has assigned them. If that takes the whole lesson, so be it, but if we have enough time to explain a subject without being overwhelmed, we will delve into future subjects. I have a passion for sharing knowledge and when I see it click in someone's mind, it fills me with joy. I am very familiar with algebra, geometry and arithmetic from a middle school to grade 12 level as electronics takes a lot of math.
