About Leung
My name is Reggie and I am currently a 4th-year Materials Science undergraduate at the University of Oxford. I am passionate about teaching maths and science as I believe that a key understanding of these subjects would provide invaluable experience for my students, and will provide them with skills they can use in the future.
I have also gone through the process of GCSEs and A-Levels and I believe that I have the teaching quality that you would not get just out of the classroom. I will stretch you further and make you prepared for all types of exam questions that can come up.

My tutoring style focuses on getting students to understand fundamental concepts of mathematics and science so that they can flourish when encountering a hard problem. Often, even at A-Level, scientific concepts just come out of the blue. I believe that by understanding the basics, students tend to find the concepts more interesting, and problem-solving more rewarding.
Typical lessons last 1 hour. At the start of the lesson, I will quickly assess what the student knows and the gaps in their knowledge. I then give them the information they need (and maybe even more) so that they can grasp the bigger picture of a topic. We will then do exercises and past paper questions. I try and stretch the limits of the student by even providing questions from other exam boards so that students know how to deal with unfamiliar questions.
I have had previous experience in Hong Kong teaching several students using this method.
