About Yusra

Hello! I’m Yusra, a second-year Materials Science and Engineering student with a strong passion for teaching and helping others succeed in maths, chemistry, and physics. I offer tutoring for both GCSE and A-Level students, tailoring my lessons to each student’s individual learning style to make challenging concepts clear and manageable. Even as a student myself, I understand the challenges of mastering these subjects and know how to break topics down into simple, practical steps. About the lesson

I believe that every student learns best when lessons are clear, engaging, and tailored to their individual needs. My teaching style focuses on: - Breaking down complex topics into simple, understandable steps - Using real-life examples and applications to make abstract ideas more relatable - Encouraging students to ask questions and develop confidence in problem-solving - Helping with exam preparation and technique, not just subject knowledge Lesson Structure: A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes. Sessions usually begin with a quick recap to check understanding, followed by focused teaching on a specific topic or skill. We then apply this knowledge through practice questions, worked examples, and discussion, ensuring students feel confident before moving on. My Qualifications & Experience: I am currently studying Materials Science and Engineering at university, consistently achieving high grades throughout my academic career. Alongside my studies, I have previous tutoring experience, supporting GCSE and A-Level students in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. My students have benefited from improved grades, greater confidence, and a stronger understanding of the sciences.
