About Michele

Hello! My name is Michele, and I am a 2019 Materials Science and Engineering graduate from Rutgers University Honors College who was a recipient of the Outstanding Engineering Scholar Award (4.0 GPA). Prior to college, I was the high school valedictorian in a class of 800+ students and earned a perfect Math SAT score. Currently, I manage R&D Development for a Skin Care Brand, but tutoring is a passion of mine to help students reach their full potential! My mathematics and chemistry/physics lessons are for K-12 students, and will help with homework, test preparation, and guiding through the concepts taught in schools throughout the year.

About the lesson

I use a step by step approach to explain various mathematics/science concepts. We will go through several examples together followed by the student completing problems out loud so they can explain why they are using specific steps. Students can come with work from school to help with homework or test preparation. If the student has good understanding of the current concept, I can review the next concept to be taught in class so the student has knowledge beforehand.
