About Karina
I love teaching maths. I have a degree in psychology which allowed me to understand how humans learn, and the brain activity involved. This helps me to plan engaging and entertaining lessons that ensure maths is learnt.
I enjoy solving problems and puzzles, which can really help mathematical abilities.

I am a very enthusiastic maths teacher who uses a mastery based approach to teaching and learning maths. This involves lots of problem solving - a crucial part of the new GCSE specification. My lessons tend to involve maths in real life circumstances to ensure it will be both interesting, and useful later in life.
I am comfortable to teach any student in KS3 to GCSE.
