About Elena

I am a highly qualified violinist and I would love the opportunity to share and teach you everything I know. A little bit about me: - Currently studying my 1st year of a Masters in Performance at Guildhall School of Music and Drama - Earned a 1st in my 4-year Bachelors in Performance degree at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire - 5 years of specialist music school education - Varied teaching experience from private students to group coaching sessions in conservatoires.

About the lesson

My ambition is to tailor lessons to suit your individual needs. No matter what level you are at, I will guide and help you at your pace, with the aim to make you the absolute best musician you can be! If you want to dedicate your time to becoming a professional musician, or if you are simply looking to improve some basic skills, I am the right teacher for you. Typical lessons will have a 2-part structure. Every lesson we will work on scales and some suitable studies/etudes that are best suited for you. Scales and studies are essential for building technique. After technique, we will work on some repertoire, that we can choose together. I am happy to recommend pieces that I feel will work for you, but also hear your own recommendations! In our lessons, we will always focus on: - Intonation - Sound production - Posture & tension - Enjoying learning music together! *Recommended lesson times are 1 hour* *Weekly lessons are recommended* *Lessons will be scheduled on a weekly basis (after each lesson) as my schedule and availability changes each week.
