About Grace
My name is Grace and I am a passionate teacher of History and Politics. Firstly, I love both subjects and it is so rewarding seeing others learn to enjoy and appreciate the subjects as I do. More importantly, I tutor because I know how beneficial tutoring can be. During my GCSEs I had a tutor for history for a section I really struggled with and now I have a degree in the subject and I am pursuing further study that uses History every day! I know how beneficial tutoring is for confidence and the future and I love playing whatever part I can!

I do 55 minute tutoring sessions. In these I will catch up with where the student's knowledge is at and assess where they are wanting to improve. I have found the best lessons focus on a primary source for history or a current issue for politics. This has had great results and is very engaging. I have teaching experience at a university level having taught undergraduate history students. I have tutored mainly A-level and GCSE students in England but I am up to date on the Scottish curriculum and my methods are transferable across both assessment schemes.
