About Robyn
I am a qualified teacher from the UK with over 12 years experience in national and international schools. I have a Masters in education and post graduate qualifications in English and special needs from UK universities. My experience ranges from UK National Curriculum to US common core and AP, as well as IB.
I can particularly help with:
GSCE and iGCSE English Language, Literature and ESL.
IB Diploma English A Language and Literature, Literature and English B. ToK and Extended essays in group 1 as well as proofreading and support for EEs in other subjects.
General support and development of literacy skills.

I take a personalised teaching approach, every student has different preferences when it comes to learning and I encourage feedback that helps facilitate lessons tailored to the individual.
Ensuring a good rapport and fun interaction is important for getting the most out of sessions. I like to take time to establish a student's goals and make clear incremental steps towards achieving these; to promote confidence and support meta-cognition.
