About Kai
Having completed a Master's degree in Physics and Astronomy, I have spent the last ten years teaching and tutoring, travelling as much as I can in my holidays. I have taught Physics and Maths from Year 7-13 and Chemistry and Biology up to A level. I am someone who loves my football (big Kettering Town fan!), running and also Astrophysics. I was part of a team who designed an engine for a little robot to bounce around Mars! I am very passionate about travel and international development and have worked with charities and NGOs in Africa, South America and Asia. I also love to hike - getting to Everest Base Camp was a personal highlight!

Having taught in different schools across the country, I have developed a variety of methods of teaching that nudge students towards whatever goal they may have, whether it is a grade 9 or a grade 4. I genuinely believe in a bespoke approach for every student as every student has different ways of learning! Some struggle with confidence, some just need an extra nudge in the right direction. I can assure you I won't just be presenting the same PowerPoint to every student! I am patient, hard-working and know the syllabus inside out. I am flexible with hours!
