I have a nearly two-decade track record of success in private instruction; I have taught ages 7-82, with 11 years in public schools teaching grades 7-12, and worked with students from all walks of life. I make sure to create a positive, rigorous, and yes, fun, working environment where you can thrive, growing as a learner and as a person.

Meet Joel B. Trisel, your eccentric guide to the world of music. With a masters degree in voice performance and bachelor's degrees in music education (choral and instrumental - euphonium), Joel brings a unique blend of academic rigor and real-world experience to his teaching.

Joel's passion for teaching is rooted in treating all people with decency. He has over a decade of experience in public schools and nearly double that in teaching 1:1 private lessons.
