About Shivani
I was born in Singapore but moved to Australia at 16 to attend boarding school. English is my first language and reading and creative writing are my favourite hobbies. I have an extensive academic record as a pursued Law upon completion of my Bachelor of Arts with a double major in English and History.
I love teaching as I enjoy helping others. I am patient and understanding and will always do my best to help my students.

I approach tutoring with an open mind. There are no stupid questions and I take pride in my ability to relate teaching to topics and subjects the student can relate to. For example, if a student has a passion for animals, i will use that within our lessons to ensure the student is engaged. I have taught students remotely but am also available for one on one lessons if need. The length of my lessons are up to the student. I understand different students have different attention spans and sometimes shorter lessons may be more productive. I can teach students from all levels. I am able to teach english from the beginning but also help university students with structuring essays.
Aside from English, I am also a law graduate and can also tutor in legal studies. Again, at a university level, I am able to assist students with understanding concepts and applying the law, as well structuring legal arguments.
