About Jo
My name is Jo, I'm a deeply passionate history student with an interest that goes beyond just academia, with a personal interest in medieval re-enactment and combat. With my masters degree gained through my own love for the subject, I hope to help others get to where I got to be, after struggling with essay writing, formatting and my Dyspraxia which made that process harder.
I hope to genuinely strengthen my students love of history and give them the marks they need to pursue it.

Techniques and Aspects of Lessons:
Discussion and Powerpoints, alongside examples, encouraging questioning and back and forth dialogue.
Factoring in all aspects needed including essay writing, knowledge retention and helping to understand events beyond just the text.
Length of Session:
60 minute sessions with optional 5 minute break.
Qualifications:
A-Level in History and Geography,
GCSE in Geography.
Bachelors Degree in Ancient History.
Masters Degree in History, Merit.
Level of Tutoring:
GCSE, AS and A-Level student teaching.
