About Anthony
Hi, I'm Anthony! I’m a Structural Engineer in Seattle with a Master’s degree from the University of Washington and a Bachelor’s from Purdue University!
Back in college, I served as a Teaching Assistant (TA), where I enjoyed helping students make sense of tough STEM topics. Having spent hours breaking down complex technical theories for undergrads, I know how intimidating math and physics can feel and how to make them approachable!
Combining my TA background with my day-to-day work, I bring hands-on experience, patience, and enthusiasm to every session.
My goal is to build your confidence and give you a solid, stress-free path to success!
Most importantly, I want to make sure that you have fun along the process!

I'm a civil and structural engineering graduate from Purdue University and the University of Washington, I am also currently a Structural Engineer working in Seattle! I teach math, physics, and engineering concepts for elementary, middle school, high school, and undergraduate college students.
My teaching style is completely tailored to your goals. Whether you are prepping for an exam, stuck on some homework, want to understand a specific topic, want to build confidence in STEM, or talk about real-life applications of certain topics; we will move at a pace that works best for you!
My goal is to bring real-world engineering problem-solving into our sessions to make abstract equations actually make sense and practical to learn!
A typical lesson includes:
- Quick Check-In: We review current assignments, past topics, or specific questions you brought.
- Core Breakdown: Step-by-step walkthroughs of tough concepts using real-world examples.
- Guided Practice: You solve problems with my guidance OR you can take a stab at a problem, and we can discuss results and thought process afterwards!
- There are no silly questions! I appreciate an open environment where you feel comfortable asking anything!
I love STEM so my goal is to make STEM a little bit more fun and stress-free!
