About Ashleigh
I have two degrees focusing solely on American history and although currently on pause while I focus on getting my teaching license, am also working on my doctorate in history. I have three years' experience as a classroom paraprofessional and am in my first year as a classroom teacher, focusing on middle school ELA, so I can also help you with your research papers. Social Studies and history are my true passions and will be one of my two teacher licenses once I am certified in the next three years.

Immerse yourself beyond the names, dates, and places. I don't focus on rote memorization. I focus on understanding the cause and effect, the why and how, and the what next. History didn't just happen, everything is tied together and I show you how.
A typical lesson will focus on key events and vocabulary to ensure you have a strong base before we build the walls of the events and the key players. I ensure you will truly understand why specific events had to happen for other things to occur and so forth.
