About Ejumevwo Kelvin

Hello, my name is Kelvin I graduated with MSc Applied Mathematics. I am compassionate and friendly. Excellence in SAT, GED, IGCSE, GCSE, AQA, Edexcel, GRE, Algebra, Calculus etc. I can help you learn math in a fresh manner and help you to improve your level.

I have over 14 years of teaching experience in math subject in various schools and universities, and I have teaching profession certificate. Students are welcome to bring outside questions to this class. I will break down the problem step-by-step, give them strategies to tackle complex problems and encourage independent exercise, I will not allow "just give me the answer" as I believe that will harm the student in the long run and they would not have learned the concept. I will use math materials and some math programs to help you learn.

When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?
I have had an innate passion for mathematics from my primary school days. I was always in the lead in my class and received the best mathematics student award. I organized free maths tutorial classes for my classmates struggling with maths in secondary school. I continued helping students who needed support in maths as an undergraduate student and started getting favors from them in appreciation for helping them. The kind favor I received now serves as great motivation for me to continue doing the good work of assisting anyone struggling with mathematics.
What makes you passionate about your subject?
I want to see students who once struggled with mathematics become masters. I want them to see maths as a lovable subject. I want them to be well prepared to succeed in math effortlessly by understanding the underlying concepts.
What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?
What I like about tutoring is seeing my tutees with a clear understanding of concepts that once looked opaque to them in maths. I have helped 100% of my students succeed in maths. That makes me a Superprof.

One of my mathematics lecturers during my undergraduate studies was a great inspiration. He practically made mathematics fun for me. His classes were never boring for once, and I never studied so hard to pass his courses because his lectures were crystal clear. He automatically became my role model as I fell in love with teaching.
What are your keys to success?
The keys to my success include but are not limited to these: patience, passion, strong interpersonal relationships, good communication, punctuality, respect for others, quick understanding, etc.
