About Zachary
I have been tutoring for nearly a decade at this point. Teachers, students, and parents have all come to me for help on topics as wide ranging as essays, philosophical arguments, Mathematics, history, and Logic. Many of my students repeatedly come back for my assistance, and professors and teachers have consistently recommended me for tutoring positions.
I am patient, and fully recognize and expect students to lack the knowledge or know-how to do many of the problems that are brought to me. That is the point of these tutoring sessions. By keeping an open, transparent, and cool-headed position and situation, I can get any student through any problem.

I work closely with students to discover their learning style and meet the needs of the person in front of me. By bringing a relaxed but detail oriented atmosphere, I can assist anyone in their attempts to better understand Mathematics, literature, Logic, Philosophy, and improve their writing skills. The start is always getting to know you, the student, as every student is different, both in how they learn, what they need, and why they are doing what they are doing. The focus, at all times, is on the student, and getting you to explain the situation, even if that means saying "I don't know what's happening here". Once we reach that point, we can go from there, with new explanations, sources, and examples.
