About Pratibha

I am a master's student currently studying microbiology. The basic idea behind these classes is the thought that every student must practice and preach their native language. Hindi is a beautiful language that is much easier to understand as well.

About the lesson

The method is a lot different than the conventional ones. I use various different teaching aids like fun activities and focus on assignment-based learning rather than just reading. The key factor in my class is understanding to great depths. Also, apart from bookish knowledge, I try to focus more on real-world examples and the majority of my teachings are based on practical rather than theoretical knowledge.

Perfect! Pratibha is an excellent teacher! She keeps the kids engaged and motivates them to learn. I was a little surprised at how quickly my 11 yr old learnt 1-100 and days of the week in Hindi - all in less than a week of classes. This is faster than any other class we can think of. She is super communicative and makes sure to send any feedback immediately.

Perfect! Pratibha is an excellent teacher! She keeps the kids engaged and motivates them to learn. Rate is just 500 Rs./hr/student for students of any age group. Classes will be individual or in batch according to student's level in the language.

Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
Hindi, being my mother tongue, is the first language I learnt. The interest in subject was there since my school days, always excelled at the pronunciations and being grammatically correct was the most important achievement for me.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
The thirst to impart knowledge with kids who desire to learn is what motivates me to teach.
How does your work help society?
According to me, helping more and more people to learn Hindi helps them in being more confident about the language and the personality which shapes their future in the world.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
I would consider my mother as a role model as she taught me to always respect one and all, their language, culture and traditions. That's why, helping kids from different backgrounds to learn Hindi language has been one of my favourite experiences which I enjoy a lot.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
Apart from teaching kids, I am a student myself pursuing Masters in Microbiology, I aspire to get a doctorate in the same field. As a pastime, I indulge myself in graphics designing work.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
It's always fun to teach kids. There have been several incidents where students came up with funny and interesting phrases while performing translations which amuses the whole class.
