About Shafay
I'm a current student studying for a master's in information technology at the University of Auckland. I have had several teaching experiences throughout my academic career, from formal teaching assistantship roles to informal teaching as a tutor to volunteer roles in STEM boot camps. These experiences have taught me the importance of customized lesson plans along with building a calm, communicative teaching path. From a tutor's point I understand everyone might have technical skills; however, it is much more important in how this knowledge is dispensed- along with iteration and clarification wherever needed. In short, I love to learn and love to teach.

I believe in focusing on constructing a personalized learning plan. Your goals, along with commitments, are what decide my methodology. Lessons can be tailored for complete beginners to intermediate students for all levels and ages.
