About Ruben

Hello future students! My name is Ruben, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Professional Engineering in Chemical Engineering at the University of Western Australia. I have always been passionate about science and maths, and this passion has driven me to pursue advanced studies in engineering.

I want to teach because I believe that education is a powerful tool that can open up countless opportunities. I have experienced firsthand the difference a good teacher can make in a student's life, and I want to be that positive influence for others. Teaching allows me to share my knowledge and enthusiasm for science and maths, helping students not only improve their grades but also develop a genuine interest and understanding of these subjects.

About the lesson

Techniques and Teaching Methodology :
My teaching approach focuses on creating a strong foundation in fundamental concepts and building up to more complex topics. I use a combination of visual aids, practical examples, and interactive activities to make learning engaging and effective. I tailor my methods to the individual needs of each student, ensuring that they grasp each concept thoroughly before moving on. I encourage questions and promote a deep understanding rather than rote memorization.

Typical Length of a Lesson :
A typical lesson lasts about 60 minutes. This duration allows us to cover material in depth without overwhelming the student, while also providing time for practice and review. I am flexible with lesson lengths and can adjust based on the student's needs and attention span.

Experience as a Tutor :
I am currently pursuing a Master of Professional Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Western Australia. I have several years of experience tutoring students in both school-level science and maths, helping them improve their grades and build confidence in their abilities. My strong academic background and practical knowledge in engineering enable me to provide high-quality instruction.
