About Olivia
My teaching approach is built on the foundation of Communication, Empathy, Collaboration, and Integrity. With 10 years of experience in teaching piano, I specialize in guiding students from school to college levels through the exciting world of music. My teaching approach is rooted in creating a supportive and engaging environment where students feel confident to explore their musical abilities and express their creativity. I focus on a balanced approach, combining music theory, technical skill development, and performance techniques to ensure a comprehensive learning experience.
In my lessons, I integrate innovative methods such as ear training exercises, improvisation, and sight-reading practice to enhance students' musical ear and creativity. I tailor each lesson to the individual student, whether they are beginners or advanced, ensuring progress at their own pace while maintaining an enjoyable and inspiring atmosphere.
Through a mix of classical repertoire and modern music, I aim to instill a love for the piano and help my students develop both technical proficiency and musical expression. My goal is to nurture every student’s potential and guide them toward achieving their full musical capabilities.
