About Juan Manuel
I am a musician graduated from El Bosque University. I am a music teacher with an emphasis on musical arrangements. I work as a composer, arranger, guitar player and cavaquinho. I teach piano too. I know and also teach about professional sound editing and recording programs like Cubase, Logic, and Finale. I have composed music for Podcasts, I have a duet with a saxophonist, we play Jazz, Bossa Nova, Blues, Colombian music and arrange classical works. I play cavaquinho with a batucada and also in a Choro and Samba roda that are made in Bogotá every month. I have been teaching guitar for 10 years.

My teaching method is seeing everything from the beginning, that is: how to read music, how to build a chord, and how to play it through the entire fingerboard. How to interpret the rhythm, and, depending on the level, we can see classes on the resources adopted in the art of improvisation and composition. Also depending on the student, you can see a repertoire of classical and jazz guitar. I can prepare student for entrance to university.
