About Nicole
I am an Honors Computer Science student at FIU who loves mathematics! For years, I have helped my classmates and younger siblings excel academically while achieving high scores in all of my mathematical courses and standardized exams--from Algebra 1 to Calculus 2. In fact, I enjoy mathematics so much that I took both Algebra 2 and Pre-Calculus in one year in order to take AP Calculus AB as a Junior in High School.

As a tutor, I hope to instill a love of learning. That is, I hope to create an environment in which students feel free to inquire, make mistakes, and grow as they learn. Instead of feeling frustrated and giving up when stuck, students will be encouraged to persevere and given all of the resources necessary to digest the material in a way that makes sense to them, individually. Of course, grades and understanding will improve, but the goal is to grow overall as a student, rather than to gain a superficial and temporary understanding.
