About Gemma

With 3 years of experience in teaching Maths, I am passionate about helping students from school to college achieve their academic goals. My journey in education has been driven by a love for numbers and a desire to inspire others to see the beauty of Maths. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of guiding many students to success, whether it was improving grades, mastering complex topics, or boosting their confidence. I focus on creating a supportive and interactive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and explore different ways to solve problems. My approach is personalised, making sure each student receives the attention they need to thrive. Over the years, I have helped students not only excel in their exams but also develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of Maths. Teaching is not just my profession—it’s my passion, and I am committed to making Maths both accessible and enjoyable for every student.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology for Mathematics is built around Accountability, Creativity, and Communication, ensuring an engaging and effective learning experience for students. I believe in holding students accountable for their progress, setting clear goals, and regularly reviewing their understanding to ensure they stay on track. Creativity plays a crucial role in my approach, as I use creative methods to explain complex concepts and make learning enjoyable. Whether it’s solving problems with real-life examples or using visual aids, I aim to present Maths in a way that sparks curiosity. Communication is key to my teaching style—encouraging open dialogue where students feel comfortable asking questions and discussing ideas. I focus on building a strong conceptual foundation, so students can confidently tackle any maths problem. Additionally, I offer tutoring in related subjects, making sure students have a comprehensive understanding that extends beyond Maths itself. My goal is to foster a deep understanding of Mathematics while making it relevant and fun.
