About Esme

I’m a passionate French tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Applied Languages (French) in Education. I specialize in teaching children aged 5 to 12 using creative and joyful methods. My lessons are filled with interactive storytelling, catchy songs, and fun movement activities that keep young learners engaged and excited. I focus on building strong foundations in vocabulary, pronunciation, and simple grammar. Each lesson is designed to be playful, clear, and easy to follow. I use games, visuals, and songs to help children remember words and phrases naturally. Learning French becomes an adventure rather than a chore. I believe that language learning should be full of joy and discovery. My approach encourages children to speak with confidence and curiosity. I create a warm, supportive space where they feel safe to try, make mistakes, and grow. My goal is not only to teach French, but to nurture a love for languages and learning. Watching young students light up when they understand or say something new in French is the best part of what I do.

About the lesson

My teaching approach for French is clear, practical, and student-focused. I support learners at all levels—whether they are new to French, need help with school curriculum, or want to improve for travel or cultural connection. I tailor each lesson to the student's pace, needs, and goals.

For students needing school support, I follow the curriculum closely and use proven methods to build grammar, vocabulary, reading, and writing skills. I also provide focused exam preparation, helping students improve their test performance with smart strategies and regular practice. I use memory tricks and fun repetition methods to help students remember words and rules more easily.

Listening and speaking are a key part of my lessons, so students grow confident in real-life conversations. I help those reconnecting with their French roots strengthen their skills naturally and meaningfully. For those planning travel, I teach practical phrases and cultural tips to make communication smooth and enjoyable.

My sessions are interactive and friendly. I use tools like flashcards, audio clips, and past exam papers to make learning efficient and engaging. I believe every learner can succeed in French with the right guidance and consistent support.
