About William
I have taught English for over 25 years at the elementary, middle school, high school, college, university, and adult levels. I have designed curricula for students:

I have a master's degree in teaching English (TESOL) from George Washington University. I have designed and taught courses for adults in English and Spanish.

- Design a fun & interactive lesson,
- With specific, targeted, and explicit descriptions,
- A sample speaking lesson: after showing you some examples, I put you in "the hot seat," and ask you to share about your favorite animal. I grade you on: your use of academic vocabulary, use of transition words, and staying on topic. I then give you feedback on where you are (What vocabulary you used and we brainstorm how to make it even better. What transition words/phrases you used/did not use. And how to provide a specific example.) The goal is to move you up from a 5 to a 6, or a 6 to a 7, etc.
- I have 25 years of English language teaching experience with children, teens, and adults, so what sets me apart from other tutors is I very quickly find where you are and design lessons to get you to the next level (again, IELTS 5 to 6, 6 to 7, 7 to 8, etc.).
- These lessons are for international students who want to get a general IELTS score for work, or an academic IELTS score to get into a university program.
