About Ruby

I have over 4 years of experience teaching English as a second language and hold an MA in English for Academic Purposes in English Studies. My passion lies in helping students learn English through cultural immersion. I love bringing discussions about travel, traditions, customs, and global topics into my lessons. This approach helps learners build real-life vocabulary and gain a deeper understanding of different cultures. I have worked successfully with adult learners, expats, and curious minds from all over the world. My lessons focus on practical language skills that students can use every day. I encourage open conversations that connect language learning with real experiences. This makes learning more meaningful and enjoyable. About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on practical English skills that students can use every day and at work. I cover important topics like business communication, email etiquette, report writing, and presentation skills. These help students become confident and professional in their English use. I also work closely with immigrants and newcomers, as well as heritage learners, to support their unique learning needs.

I create clear, step-by-step lessons that are easy to follow. I believe practice is key, so I include real-life examples and exercises. Students learn how to write clear emails, prepare reports, and speak confidently in presentations. I make sure each lesson fits the student’s goals and pace.
