I am a hands on math teacher! But since we are online I will make sure your student has fun while enjoying some movement with their math! I believe all students can be great mathematicians! My lessons are geared for students who need a extra help or need some one to accelerate their learning!
A typical lesson will start with a SEL check in about the math we are engaging with that day. Then we will do a 5 min warm up with a skill that they are confident with or one that aligns to the lesson. Next we will jump into the concept at hand, finally we will end with a exit ticket to check for understanding. Lessons are 20-45 mins long, depending on the age of your student.
