About Sandrine

Hello, My name is Sandrine and I specialized in literature in high school and two masters degrees in law. I have been fluent in English since I was 19. I gave private lessons for secondary and high school students (preparation for the English baccalaureate) via Completude and Acadomia. If you are interested, we can arrange a first lesson for free with your child to establish a first contact.

I first like to learn about the student and their journey. We then make a list of the specific subjects we will work on before setting together objectives to be reached. English is a language that needs to be spoken and written to be understood so I like to mix my technics. Depending on the student's hobbies at the start of each course, I devote 5/10 minutes to a conversation about a book we are reading, a series, a film or a political or pop culture event. The idea is to improve the student's ability to hold a conversation while allowing them to gain vocabulary. In addition, in order to prepare for the baccalaureate, I like to work on analyzing and commenting texts in order to give the students as much material as possible for the final exam. When the student is comfortable with a text, it is then much more easy to focus on using vocabulary and knowledge that will earn them points !
