About Carla
I tutored in Mathematics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Statistics at the Catholic University of Lille. Students came out happy to have finally mastered their worst enemy: Mathematics. For some, ot required a lot of effort to finally feel comfortable with the field but managed it and are currently proud of themselves.

I prepare guides with the student, emphasizing on the points they are more struggling with before starting exercises. We usually do 3 exercises per notion: - For the first one I read the instruction with the student and translate it to him/her if he does not understand the specific words (Translation of a somewhat literary instruction in the expected mathematical reasoning). - For the second one I let him solve it but correct step by step if its reasoning is not going in the right direction
- and then, the third one is an integral one, I just correct the exercise with him at the end.
Usually, the student has it perfectly right on the 3rd attempt, if this is not the case I try to re-explain the exercise in another way and we repeat exercises until he does it with perfect autonomy.
