About William
Having been a long-time student of philosophy as well as a teacher, I have seen both sides of the coin. As a student taking a philosophy class, it goes without saying that you want to do well. I can give a perspective that tunes you in to what the teacher is looking for and expecting, without at the same time giving you answers you can, as we used to say, regurgitate. I hope to set up an exchange where we discuss some of the basic, universal, and crucial concepts for living. (This is philosophy, after all!) And we might even have some fun along the way.

My teaching method is the Socratic one of question and answer.
My sessions would be directed towards undergraduates enrolled in a philosophy class. As such, my lesson plans would be tailored to the needs the student expresses to me: discussing readings or comments the professor has made in class, helping formulate paper topics and guiding the writing of the paper, giving tips on what questions might be on a given exam and helping the student come up with a good answers, and the like.
