About Daisy

Hi, I'm Daisy! I graduated with a 1st class Master's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Bristol in 2025 and I've been teaching maths for the last four years. I achieved A*A*A*A* at A-Levels including Maths and Further Maths and was awarded a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths and an A* in GCSE Further Maths.
I'm happy to travel to Rugby, Daventry, Southam and surrounding villages. Please feel free to contact me regarding lessons and exam boards. I'm very flexible with timings so will try my best to accommodate you.

About the lesson

I teach GCSE and A-Level students. My aim is to help them properly understand the core concepts of mathematics and with this good foundation everything becomes much easier.
We can start by completing some tests to establish where weaknesses lie or students can come to me with topics they'd like help with. Then I use my experience and subject knowledge to explain topics and answer questions in a thorough way. Then we get practising!
We put our knowledge to the test with past paper exam questions.

After working with several private math and science tutors, I can honestly say that Daisy is the best of them all. She has a very thorough understanding of the subject matter (she holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from a prestigious university, the University of Bristol). Daisy is also very professional, kind, and patient. My daughter now looks up to her as a role model and eagerly looks forward to her lessons.

Daisy’s mathematical knowledge and explanation skills are excellent. Daisy tutored me throughout my a-level maths course and this really improved my understanding of key mathematical concepts. The thing that I most appreciate about Daisy’s teaching style is her use of mathematical diagrams to help explain certain problems. Thanks to Daisy’s help I was able to achieve an A* in a-level maths. I would definitely recommend Daisy as a maths tutor!
