Explore the ideas of great historical minds from antiquity to the present, from East to West. If you’re interested in studying philosophy with a historical approach, you’ve come to the right place.
We begin with ancient Greece and move through the writings of the Christian Fathers, medieval thinkers such as Thomas Aquinas, Maimonides, and Avicenna, and also explore Buddhist and Confucian philosophy. We examine American pragmatism after studying the debates between British empiricism and continental rationalism.
