About Allison

My teaching approach in Math is all about making complex problems easier to understand. I focus on breaking down each challenge into clear, manageable steps. This helps students feel less overwhelmed and more in control of their learning. I teach strong problem-solving strategies, logical reasoning, and how to approach complex equations with confidence. I also help students sharpen their critical thinking by connecting math concepts to real-world situations. Whether it's understanding patterns, analyzing data, or applying formulas in everyday life, I make sure each lesson feels useful and practical. My sessions cover a wide range of topics, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and calculus. I give special attention to those preparing for exams or looking to change careers. I know how important it is to build solid analytical skills, and I offer clear guidance and structured support every step of the way.

About the lesson

I'm a Maths tutor with over 10 years of experience and a PhD in Mathematics, specializing in its applications to environmental science and sustainability. My passion lies in showing how mathematical principles can be powerful tools for understanding and solving ecological challenges. I focus on teaching population dynamics, resource management, and climate modeling techniques—core topics at the intersection of math and the environment.

In my sessions, students engage with real-world ecological data and learn to apply simulation tools to model complex systems. From predicting species populations to optimizing renewable resource use, I guide learners through the mathematical frameworks behind pressing environmental issues. I bring both academic depth and real-world relevance to every lesson.

My approach is practical, interactive, and tailored to your learning style. I help students develop a clear understanding of differential equations, statistical analysis, and systems modeling within environmental contexts. You'll not only learn the math—you'll see its impact on the planet.
