About Arin

My lessons are designed to make math exciting, meaningful, and full of discovery. I create a dynamic environment where students actively explore ideas rather than just memorize formulas. About the lesson

With over 10 years of experience as a Math tutor and an MSc in Mathematical Modeling, I bring both depth and passion to every lesson I teach. My journey in mathematics has been deeply rooted in its application to the social sciences. I'm particularly fascinated by network theory and agent-based modeling—powerful tools that help us make sense of the complex web of human interactions. From the spread of information on social media to the transmission of diseases and patterns of collective behavior, I use mathematical frameworks to explore how society functions. These models reveal surprising insights into how individuals shape, and are shaped by, the systems they belong to. I love guiding students through the process of applying quantitative methods to real-world human systems. Whether it's using graph theory to analyze relationships or simulating agents to observe emergent phenomena, my lessons are hands-on and thought-provoking. I strive to make mathematics relevant, engaging, and intellectually exciting. My approach is empathetic, adaptable, and rooted in curiosity. I work closely with each student to build not just skill, but confidence.
