About Lila

My lessons go far beyond traditional textbooks; they’re about bringing mathematics to life. I turn abstract ideas into concrete experiences that you can see, feel, and understand. Every session is designed to spark curiosity and make learning math an active, engaging journey. About the lesson

I’m a Maths tutor with over 7 years of experience and a MSc in Computational Mathematics. My teaching philosophy is holistic I aim to demystify advanced mathematical ideas and make them accessible to everyone, especially non-STEM majors. Instead of focusing on endless computations, I guide students toward understanding the deeper concepts and patterns that shape mathematical thinking.

I believe math is more than numbers; it’s a language that explains how the world works. In my lessons, I use everyday analogies, historical stories, and creative perspectives to make abstract ideas concrete and meaningful. By connecting mathematics to real life, students begin to see its beauty and purpose.

I’ve worked with liberal arts students, humanities scholars, and learners who once felt disconnected or anxious about math. Many of them discovered that mathematics is not something to fear, but to explore with curiosity. I take great care to create a calm, encouraging environment where questions are always welcome.
