About the lesson

I'm a passionate Maths tutor with over 8 years of experience and a Master’s degree in Statistics. My unique focus lies in connecting mathematical problem-solving with the world of creative arts and design. I specialise in helping students see how maths powers imagination and structure in visual and auditory creations. I’ve guided learners in using parametric equations to generate stunning digital art. We explore how simple curves and formulas can create mesmerising, evolving forms. For students interested in sound, I teach Fourier analysis—breaking down complex sounds into their basic frequencies for synthesis and audio manipulation. Another favourite topic of mine is tessellations. Using principles of geometry, we create seamless repeating patterns—foundations for textiles, architecture, and visual design. My lessons often incorporate tools like Processing for generative visuals and Blender for integrating maths with 3D modelling.
