About Shabaaz
I first started his formal study of martial arts at the age of 12 , studying a free flowing form of Tae Kwon Do. After grading for my I Dan Black Belt under the system's preeminent founder I spent a further 15 years with the organisation, and attained a III Dan Black Belt, International examiner status and became a qualified Chief Instructor.
Subsequently, I joined the intentionally renowned fight camp, London Shoot Fighters, where he trained for over 4 years in a variety of full contact systems, including Muay Thai, BJJ and notably Kyokushin Karate often referred to as “the strongest karate” in light of its bare-knuckle sparring and highly demanding training.
Recently I went on to compete at the national level Kumite in Kyokushin and still train as part of the EMAR team. In 2017 I successfully completed a 25-man Kumite.

The training I offer blends the tenacity of modern MMA with the time-honoured principles of Bushido from traditional martial arts.
My goal is to empower individuals to reach their full potential by developing both their physical and mental strength. Physical training encompasses rigorous activities such as full-contact sparring, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) drills, and body conditioning. Meanwhile, mental discipline is forged through the structured framework of our classes, incorporating isometric holds, silent sitting, and yoga-based stretching.
