I mark real university assignments at RMIT and help write the rubrics they are graded against. I show you what markers actually look for, so your work meets the criteria instead of guessing.

About Binh
I have taught at RMIT University as a sessional academic since 2017, across six courses in information systems, business analysis and IT security, and I am currently teaching Leveraging Artificial Intelligence for Business Transformation.
The part of that work that matters most to you is the unglamorous part. I mark assignments. I apply rubrics and make the academic judgment calls behind a grade. I have designed assessment tasks and written the case studies students are asked to analyze. So when I look at your draft, I am not guessing what a marker wants. I have been the marker, and I have helped write the criteria.
Alongside teaching, I have worked as a software engineer inside Australian universities since 2013, first at RMIT and now at Swinburne University of Technology. My qualifications are a Master of Data Science with Distinction and a Bachelor of Business in Business Information Systems, both from RMIT. I am a part-time PhD candidate in Information Systems at RMIT, with candidature confirmed in 2025.
I hold a current Working With Children Check.

Most students lose marks for reasons that have nothing to do with how much they know. They answer a question the brief did not ask. They write a good essay against the wrong criterion. They leave the analysis implied instead of stated. Every one of those is fixable, and none of them is fixed by working harder.
What we do in a session:
- Read the brief and the rubric together, properly. Most students have never had anyone show them how to translate a marking criterion into a sentence they must actually write. This one habit moves more marks than anything else I teach.
- Plan before you write. Structure, argument, what evidence goes where, what the reader needs at each stage.
- Feedback on your own draft, in the language of the rubric, so you can see where the marks are sitting and where they are leaking.
- Referencing and academic integrity, including how to use AI tools without breaching your university's rules. I teach this course content at RMIT, so I know both the rules and how breaches are detected.
- Exam and presentation preparation.
- Study method: how to plan a semester, how to read efficiently, what to do when you are behind.
Who I work with: university students, particularly in business, information systems, IT and data science, plus senior secondary students who want to build these habits before university. Beginners and mature-age students returning to study are very welcome. Lessons in English or Vietnamese.
Two things I want to be upfront about, because they protect you as much as me.
I do not write, complete or edit assignments for submission. Paying someone to produce your work is a criminal offence in Australia and it will end your degree if it is detected. What I do is teach you to produce work that is genuinely yours and genuinely better. That distinction is the whole basis of how I work.
I also cannot tutor any student currently enrolled in a course I teach or mark at RMIT. If you are an RMIT student, tell me your course code when you get in touch and I will check before we book anything.
Your first lesson is free. Bring the assignment brief and the rubric, and we will work out together where your marks are actually going.
