About Sophie
I enjoy helping students learn and expand on their knowledge in their chosen subjects, building their confidence and opening up new opportunities within their studies. By identifying areas of weakness in their studies, I help my pupils focus on understanding the course content and grabbing those extra marks in exams, modelling my lessons around each pupil's individual requirements.

Before approaching a topic, I ensure that students know the background information necessary, and during teaching, ensure they understand the basic concepts of the topic before furthering my teaching of the topic. During teaching, I work through examples, demonstrating the topic to students, then work through examples with the students, consolidating their knowledge.

Details
Individual lessons £15 per hour. I'm happy to do group lessons of up to 3 pupils if organised by the pupil's parents - these will be £20 an hour.
