About Ema
Hi! I’m Ema, a dedicated and patient tutor who focuses on building both academic skills and student confidence. I specialize in breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps and tailoring lessons to each student’s learning style and goals. I really like to incorporate interactive games like Kahoot in my tutoring sessions to make it more fun and dynamic!
My approach is supportive, personalized, and results-oriented. I encourage questions, critical thinking, and independent learning to help students feel confident and capable in their studies.

Subject: Social Science courses + English.
I like to always begin my lesson with a Q&A to see if there are any materials the student covered, but did not understand. Review briefly last session's material. Then I like to do a fun Kahoot or interactive quiz to warm up the student and see at what level they are at for their understanding of the material. Then I spend about 20 minutes reviewing new concepts and theories with visual aids to help the student understand better the subject. Then I spend another 5 minutes on Q&A so the student can ask whatever question they have regarding the new material. Then we put the learned concept into practice with independent practice. Finally, we end the session with a quick reflection of what they understood, what they need more help with and what to revise at home.
