About Marcia

I love to teach to empower encourage and help my students realise their dreams. I had challenges with technique and was frustrated with the lack of clarity of how to create the sounds I wanted so I decided to be curious about solutions and pass this on with real industry experience.

About the lesson

Trained at Arts Educational School. With 20yrs industry knowledge. Fun high impact sessions encouraging style, artistry and creativity with sound technical training. Increasing vocal range evenness of breaks, strength and tone. Hourly sessions for 14yrs upwards and adults. DBS checked.

Perfect! Oh my goodness, it was my first visit to Marcia and she was so welcoming and put me immediately at ease. Her technical expertise was phenomenal and her way of communicating technical or complex information in very simple, understandable terms was very helpful. The lesson felt safe, lots of fun, and I made strides of progress from my baseline in just one hour! Marcia really knows her stuff and knows how to bring out your potential due to her grace and encouragement and precise guidance. I'll definitely be sticking with Marcia!

Gillians strengths are that she understands music and harmonics. Her pitching is also excellent. Her thin folds posture is also good and she is able to change breath flow on her vocal folds.
We will initially work on thick fold posture, volume, and onsets and offsets approaching and ending notes which will improve dynamics.

Denica was a pleasure to teach. She has a beautiful rich sound, a wide range, and amazing pitching. What we will work on is control of the vocal folds awareness of whats happening with vocal onsets and offsets and confidence through technical awareness. Really enjoyable session.
