I focus on building a solid foundation in Chinese grammar and pronunciation, explaining key language points in a clear and easy-to-understand way. Whether you're preparing for VCE exams, learning Mandarin for work, or simply interested in Chinese culture, I tailor each lesson to your specific goals and learning pace.
Lessons are typically 45 minutes to 1 hour long, and I offer both in-person and online sessions depending on your needs.
I graduated from Beijing Normal University, one of China’s top education universities, and have over 10 years of experience teaching Mandarin. I taught group Chinese classes at Lyceum Language Centre in Melbourne and have delivered both private online and offline lessons.
Before moving to Australia, I worked in China as an English trainer for 3 years, which makes me highly confident in communicating and explaining Chinese concepts in fluent English—ideal for native English speakers learning Mandarin.
My lessons are best suited for:
High school students preparing for VCE Chinese;
Adults learning Mandarin for work or travel;
Anyone with a passion for Chinese language and culture.
