About Ella
I am a computer science student at Manchester Metropolitan University, with A-levels in mathematics and computer science. I have a deep love for teaching and experience instructing students ranging from 5 years old to my older university peers. My teaching experience encompasses a wide range of subjects, including mathematics, computing, sports, and first aid. In all these instances, I have thoroughly enjoyed the teaching process, focusing on breaking down problems with my students rather than simply providing solutions. This approach allows us to work through challenges together, fostering a deeper understanding.

Experienced tutor offering one-on-one sessions for GCSE and A-Level Mathematics and Computer Science. Proven success in improving student grades and facilitating content recovery. My approach emphasises building a strong foundational understanding of core concepts, enabling students to confidently progress to more advanced topics. I also find that learning becomes more enjoyable for the students if common ground can be reached outside of the subject like with a common interest to build a rapport, and with my wide range of interests, this common ground is often easy to find more often than not.
